JONAH BANK OF WYOMING NOTICE OF PRIVACY POLICY

We, at Jonah Bank understand the importance of our customers' personal privacy. Because of our interest in protecting your privacy, we have adopted the following privacy principles and practices:

  1. Acknowledgement of Your Right to Personal Privacy. We realize that you expect security in your personal and financial affairs. We understand the need to safeguard sensitive information about you that you have entrusted to us. We are committed to maintaining standards and procedures designed to safeguard this information.

  2. Collection of Personal Information. We collect and retain information from and about you in order to understand your financial needs, complete your transactions, help to establish and manage your accounts, and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Information that we collect about you comes from:

    • Applications or other forms received from you;
    • Transactions with us; and
    • Consumer reporting agencies.

    We use information to provide you with financial products, manage and protect your accounts and records, comply with certain laws and regulations, and to improve our service to you. We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

  3. Maintaining Accurate Information. At Jonah Bank, we strive to uphold the most accurate and up-to-date customer records possible. Procedures have been put into place to ensure that your financial information is accurate, current, and complete. If you find any incorrect information regarding your account, please write, call, or email us at the address or telephone number listed on your account statement and we will make the appropriate corrections as soon as possible. Since some email transmissions may not be secure, and your correspondence may have personal information about you (e.g., your account number or social security number), you may want to send us a letter or call instead of using e-mail.

  4. Limiting Employee Access to Information. We have procedures to limit employee access to nonpublic personal financial information. Information about you is provided only to those employees who need it in order to offer you products and services. Our employees are trained to understand the importance of customer financial privacy and to properly handle confidential information. Physical, electronic, and procedural privacy safeguards in all banking areas are maintained to comply with federal and state regulations.

  5. Security Procedures to Protect Information. Security systems, internal controls, and banking procedures are set to ensure that there is no unauthorized access to private information about you. Nonpublic personal financial information is given out only to those as required by law or regulation.

  6. Restrictions on Disclosing Information. Financial and personal information about you may be disclosed under the following conditions:

    • required by law,
    • specifically allowed by law,
    • requested or authorized by the customer, directly or indirectly.

  7. Maintaining Customer Privacy When Using Third Party Agents and Suppliers. Before outside vendors or service companies are contracted to provide support and perform services for the bank (e.g., check printing, preparing and mailing monthly account statements, property appraisals offered as collateral, market research for marketing our own products and services), we obtain an agreement from them that ensures protection of any confidential information about you.

  8. Inaccuracies in Credit Reporting. Please notify us if we report any inaccurate information about your account(s) to a consumer reporting agency. Your written notice describing the specific inaccuracy(ies) should be sent to us at the following address: Jonah Bank, 777 West 1st Street, Casper, WY 82601.
